SUPERFICIAL will highlight how our perception of objects sometimes is only skin deep and thus superficial; how easily we can be tricked and our expectations can be challenged. Everyday objects we are used to may present in a very different way making us look beyond their functional value.
SUPERFICIAL is a collaborative exhibition of new works by Melbourne based designer makers, Yan Huang, Manuel Canestrini and Colin Whitehead.
SUPERFICIAL will showcase the relationship between our psychic expectations with the physical reality by experimenting with functionality, material and surface of objects trying to shape a better future.
