Menorah Beacon of hope is currently on show at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Fed Square, as part of “We Change The World” exhibition.
MENORAH - BEACON OF HOPE:
Modeled after the iconic seven-branched Hebrew lamp stand, Beacon of Hope was created for the 2018 Melbourne Design Week Decoding Design exhibition and is now in the National Gallery of Victoria’s permanent collection. Seven candles are cradled in a setting which heavily references firearms. When the wax has melted away, the bullet casings will be filled with flowers.
